About me

My name is Charlotte and I am 26 years old. I have spent my entire professional life working in a kitchen. Since I was young, I have wanted to move to Paris to study French pastry making (I know it's a bit of a cliché). I didn't speak much French at the time, but I taught myself by speaking the language. After much effort, I was finally accepted by one of the best French patisserie schools in Paris, where I completed my Bachelor's degree in Entrepreneurship with a focus on patisserie. I spent a considerable amount of time doing internships all over France and Spain. I then became a pastry chef in a high-end Parisian restaurant, where I worked for over a year. However, I had to stop working due to health reasons. Nevertheless, it is still my passion to stand behind the counter. It was then that I turned to journalism, becoming interested in sharing stories and learning how to talk to people outside my usual circle. I am currently enrolled on a Master's course at a journalism school in Paris, while doing an internship at the popular magazine Elle. More to come!
